Thank you for this newsletter Glenn. I grew up a Kennedy Democrat, usually agreeing with the protesting students of the time, believing what they said when talking about freedom and inequality. I was 12 yo in '68, seeing all the bad that went on that year. I have to laugh when I think of the freedoms being protested for that year and now the same people who were in front of it all then are the ones trying to shut everyone up who doesn't believe what they do now. I remember the time when the Nazi's of the time wanted to hold a protest and the students stuck up for them and supported their right to free speech. You wouldn't see that today! I still believe in the free speech and rights they protested for then but now I'm called a right wing racist blah blah blah. Let all speak and if you disagree, tell them why! That is what our founders fought and died for. So make sure you speak up!
Homeschooling is difficult for some parents to consider due to scholastic insecurity and financial costs at this time. Finding inexpensive curriculums would be a plus (HSLDA.com, etc.). Bob
I know I probably upset some people with this newsletter. If you are a Democrat, I'm sure you didn't like my take on the brainwashing that has happened. But I ask that instead of being offended, you step back and think about what I said for a while. I also want to say that this happens on both sides, Republican and Democrat. My point is that it's important to not identify with a particular party so that you can't be brainwashed in this way.
