Hello, Glenn, from Diana in Portland. I plan to watch the entire interview with Ed Snowden. He has been a Hero of mine for quite a while and I want to understand more. I do watch The Liberty Report every day (Dr. Paul is another important Freedom Hero) and it helps me climb back out of the Rabbit Hole I sometimes fall into. Every episode helps me feel sane in spite of all of the lies and disinformation coming so from many directions. I also get Lewell Rockwell's daily list of articles that support Truth and Liberty. Thank God there are many Freedom Warriors now, and our numbers are growing!!

Thank you for these videos! I shared them with our kids' families. We are musicians and have visited a special guitar factory before, so this is right down our alley!

Thanks Glenn - I totally agree with you about Americans & people in general. When you're down, look around and someone's there to help out. I enjoy reading Victor Davis Hanson and Doug Casey for spiritual & economic guidelines - along with you!! God bless! Bob & Sue

I could have written most of what Chuck had to say meaning I agree with him completely. I had already typed out about three paragraphs, got called away, and then lost everything, so I'll retype my comments but limit it to freedom of speech, but taking a different route.

First, I take issue with the well-meaning and thoughtful statement Glenn made:

"As I said to Marcia, we need to stop looking at race, and stop seeing people as groups of people, and instead see people as individuals. We should judge each person on the content of their character and not the color of their skin.", so said MLK.

Unfortunately, neither the media nor the political bureaucrats understand, believe, or even recall the general theme of that speech, unless it's to beat a specific drum. The hypocrisy of the media and the political puppets who occupy that honored building is stunning. Examples proving my point are countless, but I'll narrow it down to two.

"Judge each person on the content of their character"--laughable when you consider how Floyd was judged. A career criminal with multiple prison terms, wife beater, thief, felon, an ex-con, and the list goes on. Yes, the content of character to live by peddled to the black youth, but that's freedom of speech. It doesn't have to be true, it just has to get ratings and follow the socialist agenda of pitting race against race, white police against mistreated black. As phony as_____.

"And not by the color of their skin". Tell that to 13-month-old Antonio West Santiago who, in March 2013, was shot in the face as he sat in his stroller. His mother was also shot but she survived to learn of her son's death at the hands of two black teens who were attempting a robbery. The jury in Brunswick, Georgia ruled the teens would not face the death penalty-only Antonia would get the death sentence. Unfortunately, Antonio's family made the mistake of being white in a 73% non-white neighborhood, but the murder of this baby wasn't ruled a "hate crime". Nothing to do with color, right? Antonio had no voice and no one spoke for him, not even the media--are you surprised?.

"Judge by the content of character and not by the color of their skin." Tell that to the 29 white men and women who were murdered by a black male from June 1 to July 18 and not one word on national news. What happened to freedom of speech and honesty in news reporting? Oh, it was only whites being killed and that happens every day so nothing to report. But, let a white officer be involved in the death of a black felon and that is not only news but a grand slam for ratings. It's a home run for pitting one against the other, of dividing cultures, and of inciting violence--yes, inciting violence, put the blame where it belongs, it's called freedom of speech.

Yes, freedom of speech has been on the chopping block for a long time and the predators of this American right finally have media outlets and political hacks in place to destroy and control what was once a great country.

Be careful what you wish for. If you know your history, you know that every country that gave up its freedoms to let the government take care of their needs, not wants, was soon made the slave of the master. History does repeat itself.

Hello Glenn, I’m in Austin, Tx. Please to say, my husband and I was well prepared for water emergencies. We had clean water, stored way before the water boil notice. Now we just run the uncontaminated water through the Berkey Water filter and don’t need to be worried. Of course other issues still present, like we didn’t shower for 3 days and counting. I do boil the little bit of water still coming through the pipes(hardly any pressure at this moment) for sponge bath. So it’s not end of the word for us but for many (most people were unprepared) it is.

My question: Is there any water distiller you recommend that doesn’t use electricity? We had no power for days and it makes me think what will be the best option to have. I definitely want one I just don’t know which one to get yet. Thanks.

I and a 119 other Marines fresh from boot camp integrated about a dozen or more gas stations and small lunch rooms on the road from Beaufort, SC to Washington DC which was segregated in 1955. That was when M. L. King was still deciding what to do with his life. I am confident that particular integration started before us and kept going until laws were passed against white only toilets and lunch counters.

That said, I am slowly becoming a racist. No bones about it. When I see bright, young, capable black men and women killed in cruel murders by other blacks for no valid reason and black leaders sit silently by only to come screaming for justice when some black petty or major criminal is killed in a confrontation with the police when all he had to do was submit to arrest and fight his cause out in court, it is slowly but surely turning me against such movements as specious and suspiciously political beyond seeking justice. While not every black man killed in a police encounter is guilty of some crime or resisting arrest, far too many of these Martyrs for Black Justice are the kind of folk anyone should be happy to have out of the neighborhood rather than holding up career criminals as some sort of hero for the cause.

I don't feel any personal guilt for slavery. I especially don't feel any guilt when the forebearers of the current vice president of the U.S. owned slaves and she doesn't seem to feel a bit of guilt about it. If she wants reparations for slavery, she can start by donating her salary and the value of her perks to black colleges so enterprising young black men and women can get the value of a college education.

White privilege my left big toe. I am a white male. I run into rude clerks at least weekly. I get rude treatment almost every time I have any dealings with public officials. I have in my 70 years of licensed driving with a few years before then of unlicensed driving had occasion to be stopped by law enforcement officers. I would say no more than a dozen times but let's say two dozen times to establish my reputation as traffic law scofflaw. In all those stops I have only run into a discourteous l.e.o. once. I didn't get into a dispute with him. I remained calm. Didn't raise my voice and got my revenge in court when the judge dismissed the ticket after trial where, true to form the CHP officer lied under oath because he didn't remember the ticket in one iota. That didn't turn me against cops. They do a dirty, nasty job and are expected to miraculously handle highly dangerous events in a form approved by every armchair expert in the country.

I just saw the videos of the shooting in San Clemente CA. The police dash cam really didn't show much but a civilian phone camera showed enough to show me that the man killed was resisting being taken into custody. All he had to do was accept the citation for jaywalking, go to court, tell the judge that there was no traffic coming and it was safe to cross the street even though it was against the light, explain that he is out of work and living on the streets and in the biggest percentage of cases, the judge would admonish him to obey traffic signals in the future and dismiss the case. The place to settle traffic tickets is not shouting at the cop. That is guaranteed to get you a ticket. Be polite, be reasonable. If you get a ticket, sign it, take it and fight it where you should, in court. If you can't pay the fine the judge will allow you to make payments that fit your budget. While I won't discuss what appears to me to be a couple of cops with nothing to do hassling a homeless man about walking against the light, one coming to the attention of law enforcement, one should be polite no matter how outrageous the cop's conduct. If you have a beef with it the place to voice that beef is in court or in letters to the editor or with the cop's superior officer, not on the street. You are going to lose that argument every single time. I rarely guarantee any absolutely but I will guarantee that if you get in an argument with the cop, raise your voice, walk away while he is addressing you. shove him, tear up the citation, YOU ARE GOING TO LOSE THAT ARGUMENT. EVERY SINGLE TIME. ABSOLUTELY GUARANTEED. You don't need a PhD in psychology to know that. Why is it the majority of the incidents that make the news are blacks fighting about a minor event? That is certainly the way to influence undecided folk. Is it just the media trying to show that blacks are picked on by law enforcement? I truly think that is the case. Using FBI statistics on crime in the U.S., blacks far out of their proportion of the U.S. population are involved in the commission of felonies in the U.S. These are reports of crimes by black folks themselves, not just white folks blaming everything on blacks, but black on black crime. It doesn't take a math genius to figure out if 87% of the crime reported in the U.S. is committed by blacks, then blacks are going to have the biggest percentage of contact with law enforcement. It's not law enforcement prejudice although constantly meeting the same black criminal time after time, crime after crime does cause a certain amount of mind-set. How could it not? Should you have any doubts about my assertions about black involvement in crime, please avail yourself of the FBI crime statistics. They are easily available on line to anyone.

I lived with black in the Marine Corps. At one point there was a black man in our hut who insisted on playing "his music" at volumes where ordinary speech was impossible. He was loud-mouthed in other ways to add to his obnoxious musical habits. He insisted that we were prejudiced against him because he was black. Our rejoinder was always, "No, not because you are black, because you are you. Doesn't matter what color you are, you would still be obnoxious."

He will go through life blaming his difficulties on his race and not himself. He will talk about how white people (and other blacks, I might add who also found his music and personality grating) and their animus against black people. On the other hand, among the other half dozen blacks and the same quantity of whites got along quite well as just Marines among other Marines. When we put on the green uniform we all became green. After all, when we bled, we all bled red. When a Marine of any color was abused by a senior NCO or an officer, we all were abused in the same fashion.

Well, Glenn, I'm sure you didn't expect War and Peace. I have lived a long time and have gone through a complete cycle. You must remember that segregation existed even in the North. Sun Oil Company in PA where my father worked maintained a white employees sports club and directly across the street was the black employees sports club. Neighborhoods were segregated. Not officially, of course, but no realtor who wanted to get referrals from other white realtors ever showed a house for sale in a white neighborhood to a black family. Even black realtors followed the practice so they could continue to get referrals in black neighborhoods from other white realtors. That was in desegregated Pennsylvania, founded by Billy Penn, a Quaker and the year was 1955, not 1855.

I enjoy reading the information you share for our benefit. Please tell me what you think of WaterWise water distillers. I can't afford the Aquanui and they are twice the cost of the WaterWise. Thank you for your time and your opinion.

I absolutely agree that most people in the States, and in fact, most people in the world, are good people. I am quite liberal myself, but I don't necessarily believe that all Republicans are racist. I believe that many do not recognize their own white privilege, and would benefit from doing some reading, for instance, "White Fragility." I will admit, there have been times in my life that I felt "enough of the Black Lives Matter." Of course they do. But when I heard a black man say "All lives matter WHEN Black Lives Matter," I understood more. I have a friend who has been posting pro-Trump stuff. I posted back that I like her, respect her, and hope we can continue to work together on our volunteer efforts, even though we will likely never agree politically. I have not heard back. It makes me sad that politics can separate good people.
