Spirit is providing us with opportunities every moment of every single day. Many see these opportunities as karma, the act of an angry, spiteful God, as things are being done TO us, rather than as what they truly are ~ an experience that is being provided FOR our benefit, out of God's love for us to grow and unfold into more spiritual, loving beings. Thanks so much for this post during a time of what outwardly appears to be an era of divisiveness and hate. It's encouraging and hopeful to hear strong affirmations of love from souls such as yourself, Glenn, unafraid to speak out, guiding us out of the darkness into the Light. With much gratitude and Love!
Well written. I have tried to thank God everyday for the small things (that are actually quite large) and to be content with my learning opportunities. Someone will always have it better but I am blessed to not have it so bad.
Rome finally collapsed after its moral strength was dissipated. Greed, manipulation, power -hunger, licentious behavior, insensitivity to the suffering of others - all these things made Rome weak, unable to hold on to what they had achieved during their earlier eras. What is being shown is an effort to facilitate the development of those negative traits in us, and we can certainly see them growing. Homeschool!
I do agree, Glenn. I also think that we all are actually one, as close as different expressions of the same Being, in deeper ways than most of us think about. Through this connection, what we do that is loving or positive to others will come back to us, and the reverse. What we see others showing us is actually within ourselves, and they, unpleasantly perhaps, are doing us the service of giving us a chance to look at what we need to deal with. It's both simple and complicated. Thank you for the post.
Yes, I love today's newsletter, especially because it says exactly what I believe - every moment is opportunity! Thank You Glen. I do have a slightly differing view starting with the same letter L. While you rightly point out every opp is for Learning our role in God's plan I believe every thing that happens, good or bad or anywhere in between is nothing but an opp to find God's Love! The reasoning being - everything that happens, happens because God allows it to happen. Our God is a God of Love, a Creator, (Love Creates, a God of hate would be destroying, not creating), whatever God does or allows to be done will have Love interwoven somewhere within so our opp in everything that happens is to find that Love. Let's say every thing is opp and every opp is an opp to Learn to Love. And since these opps come non-stop we could say we are living in a shower of blessings.
