Book: Confessions of an Economic Hitman
An important perspective into the dark side of global politics
In my webinar the other day, I mentioned a book called Confessions of an Economic Hitman. If you want to learn more about the dark side of global politics, the CIA and the NSA, then I suggest you read this book.
While this book uncovers the dark side of USA foreign policy, I want to be clear; I love the USA. But what does this mean? What do I love?
The USA is not defined by our government. The USA is great dispite the government. We are great because of our individual freedom and our Constitution which is supposed to limit the power of government, because people in power ALWAYS want more power. But our Constitution only protects us if we in turn protect the Constitution.
This book represents what happens to a country that doesn’t hold true to its ideals, which is what has happened to the USA. My hope is that we return to the principles of individual freedom and individual responsibility.
Here is an interview with John Perkins, the author of Confessions of an Economic Hitman.
